GNU core utilities의 라이선스는 6.10 이상의 버전부터는 GPL-3.0, 6.9 이하의 버전에서는 GPL-2.0으로 확인됩니다.

GNU core utilites를 포함하여 판매하는 것은 공개SW 라이선스 위반은 아니지만, 각 버전의 라이선스를 준수하여 사용하셔야 합니다.

특히, 임베디드 제품의 경우 GPL-3.0이 포함된다면 설치정보 제공의무에 따라 하드웨어의 설치정보까지 제공해야 할 수도 있습니다.

추가로 두가지 궁금한점이 생겼습니다

1. 만약 GNU core utilities가 flash ROM이나 emmc에 기록되어 판매될 경우 설치정보 제공의무가  6. Conveying Non-Source Forms.의 아래 내용에 해당한다 볼수 있나요 ?

2. GNU core utilities가 flash ROM이나 emmc에 기록되어 판매될 때, 특정 기능의 인증 때문에 사용자가 GNU core utilities가 포함되어 있는 루트파일시스템을 수정하거나 열람할수 없는경우 아래 사항의 적용을 받게 되나요 ?

The systematic pattern of such abuse occurs in the area of products for individuals to use, which is precisely where it is most unacceptable.
