AAC 코덱을 이용하여 오디오를 인코딩하는 프로그램을 개발 중에 있습니다.

Open-source(gstreamer faac)의 AAC-LC 코덱을 이용하여 인코딩만을 수행하고자 합니다.

인코딩한 오디오를 디코딩하는 주체는 타 제품인데, 타 제품은 AAC-LC 라이센스를 보유하고 있습니다.

이때,  Open-source를 사용하여 AAC-LC를 인코딩만 수행해도, AAC-LC 특허 라이센스가 필요한가요?

GStreamer FAAC를 사용하여 인코딩하는 프로그램을 개발 후 배포 시에는 GStreamer FAAC의 라이선스인 LGPL-2.0을 준수하시면 됩니다.

즉, GStreamer FAAC를 사용하는 경우 따로 AAC-LC 특허 라이선스가 필요하지 않는 것으로 판단됩니다.
